The Daily Herald reports: Police are investigating the beating of a junior at Jacobs High School in Algonquin who was attacked by a fellow student Monday in the West Dundee area.
The victim told police she was attacked about 4:30 p.m. after the other student sent her text messages threatening to kill her and beat her up with a baseball bat.
The school’s principal said there are no school consequences if something happens off school property.
