Naperville Central senior Emily McGee, a girls volleyball player, was honored with Triblocal/Valley Honda's Sports Person of the Month award Jan. 27 during a boy's basketball game. McGee won November's contest after being nominated by her coach and Central's athletic director Marty Bee. With the win, the high school received a $500 donation from contest sponsor Valley Honda of Aurora. Bob Navarre of Valley Honda handed the four-year varsity player a big check in front of her fellow students and friends. McGee will play volleyball next year at the University of North Carolina. She plans to study business or sports administration. To read more about McGee, click here.
